Reflection

              Does not feel the third semester will end soon, and I will face tomorrow semester final exam on Monday.

             Actually I was very happy, I was taught by Miss Tri.Setyowati. She taught a Writing 1 lesson in my class. In my opinion about her, she is beautiful, smart,and disciplinary. I really liked when she was giving explanation about the lesson because She was very clear. There are many knowledge and information that has given by her, where I didn’t know becoming know.

I felt happy and enjoy in her class, but she sometimes is firm when she gave an exercises. yeah Although I often got a bad score, I would never give up for trying again because success begins from mistakes. I think Writing subject is very difficult because we have to be needed carefulness. There are many mistaken when i was studying Writing such as; Punctuation, Verb Agreement, Part of Speech and recently the materials are Simple Sentence,Compound Sentence, Complex Sentence, and the last Compound and Complex Sentence. So I must study hard for getting a good score. Insya Allah I believed that I can get it.

Thank you very much Miss. Tri. Setyoningsih. You had been teaching me many information. I think you are the best lecturer because you are firm and prudent person.And now I can write English very well. I hope your lesson will be beneficial to me Amien.

                

 Raja Ampat

                I want to visit to Raja Ampat, but I don’t have a lot of money. It  has a wonderful world. Raja Ampat ( the fourkngs) archipelago encompasses more than 9.8 million acres of land and sea off the northwestren tip of Indonesia’s West Papua Province. Located in the coral reef biodiversity, the seas around Raja Ampat possibly hold the richest variety of species in the world.

                A scientific survey of Raja Ampat islands conducted in 2002 by The Nature Conservancy showed that Raja Ampat houses 537 species of corals an incredible 75% of all known coral species,899  kind of fish. This makes Raja Ampat the best diving site in Indonesia.

                On land, the survey found lush forests, rare plants, limestone ouctcroppings, and nesting beaches for thousands of sea turtles.

Kakaban Island

            Kakaban Island is part of the Derawan Island, East Kalimantan. The island has an area of 774,2 hectares and is quite steep with limestone cliffs covered with dense jungle right down to the water’s edge and few beaches. In the middle of this island, there is mangrove lake, slightly above sea level.where thousands of non-stinging jellyfish live. There are at least four different species of jellyfish which have lost their natural defense system because of the lack of major predators in the lake. This unique lake can only be matched with a lake in Palau, Micronesia.

            Now imagine your self swimming and diving together with these stingless jellyfish. Awesome!

Trunyan Village

          Trunyan is located besideLake Batur, about 50 kilometers northeast of Denpasar, Bali. The trunyan people claim themselves to be descendants of the original Balinese, or Bali Aga. Unlike most Hindu people in Bali, who get cremated after they pass away, Trunyan people will lay the deceased out rot under a sacred tree believed to be earthly form of a sky goddess. This tree, known as Trunyan Menyan, produces a kind of perfumed scent hat absorbs the bad smells from the dead bodies. Legend has it that name of Trunyan came from the name of the tree, Taru Menyan.

Sinopsis of Breaking Down

                  

                        I can not wait to see the dawn breaking film, starring Robbert Patison, christian stewart, and taylor that will appear in mid november. I've been following the beginning of this movie. I think this movie is very good and interesting. I like to see the romance between Christian Stewart as Bella Swan and Robbert Patison as Edward Cullen. I have already read the novel from breaking down, and the story is very interesting that many of the events happen. I don’t think Bella is willing to be a stop for the sake of the beloved Edward Cullen. I want to tell the contents of the novel that I read.

                   Bella's old truck finally really dead. And joined the other Cullen family, Bella began to enjoy expensive cars sold high-speed limited on the market. Life began to revolve rapidly around him. His father and his mother agreed with easy engagement to Edward, not like its shadow. Despite the shadow of Jacob who went to heal the wounds of his heart, the wedding day finally arrived. Edward was at his side vows during their existence.

                    Honeymoon which was originally designed beautifully turned out to be a very bad start to their relationship. Strength incredible vampire Edward is leaving Bella was a frail human body hurt. Not quite up there Bellaharus confronted with the fact that she was pregnant. The fruit of her love of Edward grew up in her stomach as a bloodthirsty monster.

                    Full of courage, against all the suggestions and advice Cullen family, Bella would not stand for abortion even if he must risk his life. At the critical moment, the presence of an old friend, Jacob, so help her and Edward to go through those bad days.

                     After going through the long suffering due to the fetus she is carrying monsters, Bella was meregan lives on delivery table. Edward finally took the decision that has been the most opposed the idea, namely to change Bella into a vampire.

                    The days of Bella as a vampire was begun, with her baby, Renesmee, which proved to be a half vampire half-man incarnation. Then the problem that arises is how Bella must explain to his father that he now has become a vampire, like her husband's family? Or how he should explain if in fact it was Jacob who cheerful werewolf? And that his father has had grandchildren half vampire, half human with all his unusual talent?

     Last night was vey crowded. There were many people celebrated new year eve. I spent time and celebrated new year eve with my friends. Many my friends assembled in my house for having fun. We made a sml party. At 5.00pm, we went to pasar family for buying chicken,cassava, and fishes. At 8.00pm we started to burn chicken while we were waiting 2011. There were many events happend in 2010.In my opinion in 2010, I had many experiences especially in learning English. I hope in 2010, I will get a success forever and it will better than 2010 amien.

After te female lays her egg in winter, she will go t eat while the male kepps the egg on his fet to keep it warm until it hatches. He does not eat during this time, and can lose up to half his weight. The female will be back in spring when the egg hatches. Now it's the male's trun to go to sea to eat. He coomes back to help the female look after the thick.

Everland Resort and lotteworld

           Everland Resort is one of the largest resorts in the south about an hour from Seoul, Everland theme park resorts have the biggest Everland, "Caribbean Bay" water-based amusement park and public golf courses. Rides at Everland mainstay of one of them is T-Max, Jet wooden coaster that opened 2008, T-Max is South Korea's highest, fastest, Longest, steepest roller coaster! T-Max can dip to 77 degrees, we can imagine, how is very spooky. In addition there are many other rides else can make the adrenaline is racing like: Eagle Fortress, the suspended coaster with a speed of 40miles per hour and Rolling X-Train an exiting, super-fast roller coaster, with two 360 degree revolutions complete! Korea also should be entitled  Themepark great and our adrenaline, there's more lotteworld. Indoor Themepark the world's largest open throughout the year set by Guinness World Records have cinema, ice rink and souvenir shops. Lotterworld also has an outdoor garden ang called Magic Island, which is an artificial island in the middle of the lake which is connected by monorail. Lotterworld can be easily accessed from Jamsil Station, on line 2 and 

line 8 of the Seoul Subway. Located near the park Seok-Chon lake. Lotterworld often equated with Disneyland, Tokyo.

Miserable Boarder No More

          I want to share story about becoming a boarder. Most of people usually say about being a border!

Eating poorly, living uncomfortably, and suffering a monthly shortage of cash. This is mostly true for students who live away for home. But it doesn’t have to be this way, you know. You can have enjoyed living the life of boarder if you just know how to do it. Checkout the following tips.

1. Chose a boarding near your school or college. That way, you don’t have to spend time struggling in traffic 

     jams as you can walk to school. It saves money and is healthier.

2. If possible, choose a boarding house that provides a living room for visitors. The bedroom is a private 

    place, so you don’t want any people checking out the mess in it, right?

3. If possible, choose a boarding house with the landlord/landlady living nearby. So whenever there is a 

    problem with anything or anyone in the house, you can come and see him/her for a solution.

4. Make your room as comfortable as possible. Keep it clean. A comfortable room will help you study better.

5. Eat and rest well. Being sick away from home is surely something you don’t want to experience.

         I think living as a boarder actually has a plus point. You get to learn to be a responsible and independent person.

Ice Cream

         Who doesn’t  know ice cream?. Ice cream is a type of sweet frozen food from milk fat, flavored with fruit and chocolate. I really love it because it can give me an enjoyment. It also has simple shape. I think all people certainly like it either kids or adult.

         Ice cream has many choice flavor and shape. There are many kind flavors of fruit flavor that makes every one like it. The shape many varies. There are packaged in a plastic bowl, there is also packaged using a wooden stick.

          It can lose my boredom. When I am crying or sad, I always buy it because it has a fresh taste and also the cold that can calm the mind.

          The price is very cheap. It can be bought in everywhere, whenever you want.

My Childhood

          I think my first memories began when I started school at about five years old. I lived in Tanjung Priok of North Jakarta. I had a happy childhood. I remember playing in a big garden. I fell from a big tree and broke my hand. I remember I had a naughty friend named is Suneo, because he had a big mouth. He liked hitting and pulling me when I was playing with my friends. He always derided me. But I didn’t brush aside what he said to me. It was so pathetic. One day I hit him over the head with my bag. His parents were very angry with me. But I didn’t feel sorry at all at the time. Now Giant has become my good friend. It was such an unforgettable childhood.

 

                                                       

SIDE JOB

           English is very fun. English is the second language in the world. It is very important because we must communicate wherever we are. English is learned either in formal or informal. Last weak I had a free time because I didn’t have a class during four days. I filled my leisure time with teaching children in my house. I taught Elementary School and Junior High School. I was very happy because there were many children who wanted to study English to me. In their school, they have been getting the English lesson. I asked to them “did you get a difficulty in learning English”. They answered,” yes we were”. After ward I taught what they didn’t understand yet. There were many problems why they still didn’t understand about English such as tenses and grammar.

          In their opinion, they got difficulty about tenses because they were getting confuse which they had to use. There were many tenses commonly tenses consisted 16 tenses so it made them confuse.

          The second, they had difficulty about pronunciation because writing wasn’t unequal in pronouncing.

         The third, they didn’t understand yet about grammar because that was very complicated how about putting structure. In their opinion, they thought Grammar was very difficult, it can be said the match formula. They were confuse how about making sentences that is very well and good. They had to learn grammar but they still didn’t understand about it.

          I tried to explain what they didn’t understand about all lesson. I explained slowly in order to they understood. Finally they understood what I taught to them. I didn’t forget to increase new vocabularies in order to they could practice conversation in daily activity.

I hope my knowledge could be useful for them amien.

         

IDUL ADHA

          On Wednesday I celebrated Idul Adha days. Pilgrimage feast of Eid Al – Adha is accompanied by the slaughter of sacrificial animals such as cows, goats, and camels for people which capable. There were any sacrificial animals in my mosque. They were two cows and 15 goats. This year I didn’t sacrifice because I had sacrificed last year. I was very pity when I was looking animals are slaughtered by butcher. After slaughtering animals, the committee sacrificial animals distributed meat door to door. It was very interested because I and my entire neighbor made a food which was very delicious namely sate. I really like sate because the taste was delicious. We ate together. In the evening all of mothers were cooking gulai, soup, and rendang for dinner together. After isya ,all of people gathered together in yard of a mosque. The event aimed to strengthen relations between citizens. The event was very merry and crowded.

 

 

 My Delicious Food

          My favorite dish from my country is gado- gado. Actually, gado – gado is special food from Betawi. It contains from vegetables which have been cooked before, such as bean sprouts, long bean, squash, water spinach, cabbage, tahu and tempe which are mixed by peanut sauce. You can choose about the taste. If you like spicy, you can add some chili. And if you don’t like spicy, you shouldn’t take any chili. Gado – gado is so easy. You just make a peanut sauce which made from peanuts that have been in pure, garlic, palm sugar, a little salt, and water which pulverized together and drops a lemon juice. Then mix the peanut sauce with vegetables and add lontong, if you like. It is very easy to be made whenever you want it anytime.

My Free Time

       

 It is Time to British Council

   

          British Council is a place where we can read anything books there. It can be said a place for increasing our knowledge. Today I am going to British Council with my friends they are Nabila, Heflin, Wiwit, Hesti and sihwahyundari. I have a free time on Thursdays because I don’t have any classes. So we decide to go to British Council for managing our member cards. It is very far from our campus, the located in Senayan exactly. We took by public transportation .When we arrive there, I meet the others friends. After ward we spent time there for reading anything books, share about others topics. The time is very so fast we have been spending time 3 hours there. And we don’t forget for taking a picture in somewhere, then we are going to share in social utility or Facebook .

Speaking is My Nightmare

Speaking is Nightmare for Me

                                Speaking is a word or sentence which out mouth, in order words speaking is a media communication. We can talk about something in daily activity. I’m in the third semester there are many subjects so far I have been learning they are speaking class, reading, structure, writing, pronunciation and so on. There is one of is very difficult to me. The first sometimes I find words are complicated for is spoken. The second I feel awkward when I’m speaking with people. The third I feel confuse what I will say whereas I know what I must say in my mind. In my opinion Grammar is easier than Speaking. Grammar is the rules in a language for changing the form of words and joining them into sentences. I think Grammar is very easy for is learned and understood because we just understand about form of words and changing sentences to present, past or future whereas speaking we have to speak directly on the spot without texts book or the others notes.

The conclusion we must speak English everyday, everywhere, and every time in order to we don’t stag. We must try speaking English very well with all of people now or never.

My Leisure Time

Reading Books

I usually go to library when I have a leisure time. When the lecturer doesn’t come, I give an opportunity to go to library. I don’t know why I like go to library. Sometimes some my friends persuade me to the others places except the library, like Mall, cinema, and cafe but I don’t interest about that. I prefer stay in the library for reading some books than go out to the others places. There are some friends deride me, they say” hi you always spent your time in library, do you know the library isn’t really interesting. Your life is flat”, but I don’t mind what they are talking about me. These are my reason why I like spending my time in library?, the first I like a view in the library with large area and there are many books which piled up with neatly. The second in the library I get comfortable and the room is silent, so I can be fast catch what I am reading. The third if I spend time in library by reading some books certainly I get many a knowledge which I don’t know become knew.

Sometime I spent my time in library at least 3 hours, I like reading books. I think that all about my leisure time, I just spent my time for reading books.

DISASTER

                 Recently Indonesia is being said. There are many disasters which happen in our country. The disaster swallow up many victims on October, 26 th 2010 volcano erupted. Volcano went out a black smoke or which more is known by wedus gembel. The accident happened between 17.20p.m although I didn’t see the accident directly I just looked via media information. The condition was very horrible.
I felt you know certainly mbah Marijan alright. He lives at Kp. Tinah Rejo Cangkringan. He is too old about 81 years old. He is an old man who is behavior a simple and friendly. When volcano was erupting mbah Marijan still stayed in his house. He didn’t want to go out and he would rather stay in her house. Furthermore after the volcano went out a black smoke or wedus gembel all of the Kp. Tinah Rejo Cangkiran had been covered y dust of a black smoke. Kp. Tinah rejo Cangiran formerly was beautiful and fresh now to become dark and mess. Afterwards team SAR sought some victims who touched a black smoke. There were many victims one of them is mbah Marijan. Mbah Marijan had been found by team SAR but he passed away with bow from kneeling position so than forehead touches floor. While mbah Marijan was wearing batik and kopiah his face and his body hadn’t been recognized but his family believed that the man who were wearing batik and kopiah is mbah Marijan. Mbah Marijn had been spending his time to care volcano since he was young. After the death of mbah marijan there was a woman who will replace as juru kunci volcano she is pominah but is still considered.
                  Before volcano erupted our archipelago exactly in Mentawai had been shaken by earthquake between 7.2 scale litters. After shaking suddenly the water ocean thundered. Afterwards the swell came and swept all houses citizen. Up to now team SAR is still searching all victims. There were many victims who still lose and there are too found in death.
                 My conclusion about this topic, I think we must take care our environment and we must pray more again to God the Almighty who has given us mercy and blesings. If we love Allah so Allah will love us

My Special Things

My Special Thing

          I have a special thing in my life, she’s always there every where I need. She is beautiful and interesting. She’s small, simple and also has a cute face. She can keep my secret. She always knows what happen with me when I’m crying, she’s also crying, when I’m happy she’s also happy. She always adorns my life. I have filled many parts since I’m in Junior High School. I really love her because she’s in solidarity with me. Everyday I write down anything about what happen in my daily activities. Sometimes I share about my story love when I’m falling in love with someone especially the man who I love it. I don’t know why I fell happy if I write down and share to her. Yeah may be It can be said she is smart in keeping a secret compared with my friends. She knows my personality, characteristic and what I think. She is a diary which accompany me everywhere She is my special thing in my life. I call her by Novie junior.

          Formerly she had ever lost when I was in Senior High School of course It really saddens for me. I had searched everyplace but I didn’t get it. I thought whether I left it in my school or on the way. I was really afraid if there were people which found it and then they read it, I didn’t imagine. I informed to all my friends if they found a small book and the cover has a pink, please gave to me but I waited for a week there weren’t information. On Saturday exactly It was two weeks, I surprised there was someone called me. I looked the number, I thought I ever looked this number but whose was number?.

Did you know who called me? He was Ilham a boy who I loved. I shocked why he called me what happened. He told “ Hi Novi did you have a small book which a pink cover” I answered yes I did why you asked me like that?.did you know I really trembled whether he had read when he found it oh my God of course I really ashamed. He said “ just now after I finished to play basket ball I found a small simple book, I didn’t know whose was this afterwards I opened and I read your name. I directly asked him did you read all my notes?.He answered “ please forgive me, I wasn’t intentional I had read it all.” Oh my God he knew about my felling to him, I was just silent after wards he wanted to me for coming to school tomorrow intend to return it.

          The next day, I met him and he return it to me he asked me did you love me? I answered no. He said “ you were lying I had known about your feeling to me when i read your diary Novi I also loved you but I didn’t braved to say it to you. I was happy when he had said her feeling. Finally we decided for courting. Hahaha may be that was my wisdom I had lost my Novi junior.
